ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Senior leader Khurram Dastgir has said the PML-N was most popular political party and all national and international surveys were depicting it.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the PML-N wanted that free, fair and transparent general elections should be held in the country.
He said the party has expressed its reservations on appointment of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab due to his biased views. Caretaker CM Dr. Hasan Askari had also written articles in newspapers where his partiality was very clear to everyone, he said adding that appointing such a person as Caretaker CM have raised questions on transparent administrative measures by him for holding free and fair elections.
He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had been doing immature politics as it had given name of Caretaker CM and when it was announced with consensus, the PTI took back the name.
