The crime statistics compiled for the last week indicates that no locality, no street, no market in federal capital is out of criminals reach despite joint-patrolling by law enforcement agencies. The crime figure of the last week showed that the law and order situation in the heavily guarded capital was rapidly going from bad to worse as it could be gauged easily by the number of incidents of carjacking, robberies, purse snatching etc had taken place during the last one week.
According to crime statistics, the limits of three police stations including Margalla, Sabzi Mandi and Aabpara topped the lists of the crime, followed by Industrial Area police and Kohsar police stations. During the last week, Margalla police station registered two cases of robbery and one case of car theft. Unknown robbers stole two laptops and other valuables documents from the car of Mubashir Mumtaz parked at F-9 Park.
Muhammad Imran informed Margalla police station that three unknown armed men snatched bike from him at gunpoint and mobile phones when he was way to home. On the other hand, car lifters stole a bike (RIK-4897) of Tanzeel Khaliq from sector F-8/4 lying the limits of same police station.
Sabzi Mandi police station registered three cases of motor-vehicle thefts during the same period. thieves lifted a bike (EP-395) of Baz Gull from sector I-10 Markaz , picked away a Suzuki van (RIA-495) of Allah Dad from sector I-10/2 and stolen a bike (ACL-921) of Muhammad Adnan from sector I-10 Markaz.
Carjackers stole three bikes from the limits of Aabpara police station during last week. Thieves stole a bike (QQ-275) of Numan Batt from polyclinic hospital car parking, lifted a bike (FR-300) of Amjad from Sunday Bazar car parking and picked away bike (FR-558) of Muhammad Riaz from sector G-7 Markaz located in the limits of Aabpara police stations.
Industrial Area police station registered two cases of motor-vehicle theft during the same period. Vehicle lifters stole a Corolla car (ZY-223) of Muhammad Umer from sector I-8/2 parked in front of his house. A bike (RIP-806) of Fatih Muhammad was also lifted from sector I-9 Markaz.
