MOSCOW: Russian gas giant Gazprom is expected to report a 1.4 percent increase in first-quarter net profit to 338.3 billion roubles ($5.2 billion), according to the average of analysts' forecasts, thanks to rising gas prices and export volumes.
Its earnings have been constrained however by losses related to foreign currency exchange rates.
