All Pakistan Muslim League Central leader and spokesperson Asia Ishaq said the ongoing problems faced by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain were worsened by planned and deliberate delay in issuing national identity card and a passport to him, which was part of conspiracy to throw Husain into ongoing legal matters, which were also based on mere suspicions.
She said that many top leaders of Pakistan's major political parties had been involved in money laundering but the British authorities and the Scotland Yard Police not only ignored those well documented cases of money laundering but turned a blind eye, which was a manifest of discrimination.
The federal government was making announcements for extending moral and diplomatic support to Hussain, who was now in Police's custody but in fact, federal government already had the knowledge as what was going to happen and thus it with a purpose delayed the issuance of identity card and a passport to Hussain, she claimed. She said the APML was monitoring the entire situation closely and believed all that happened to Hussain was part of a conspiracy. The Scotland Yard police had not yet framed any legal charge against MQM Chief but still his house was searched for many hours and despite serious illness, "Hussain was not allowed to go to hospital."
British authorities should decide whether they would allow the Scotland Yard Police to take one-sided actions as they had never initiated any probe against those that had pounded London with heavily spread property and bank deposits while Hussain was placed under severely agonising pressure just on suspicions, she questioned the British authorities.
She said that APML Chief General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) was also facing similar circumstances on political basis and all cases he was facing today were part of a planned conspiracy. Meanwhile, APML Central leader Muhammad Ali Sherwani said the local and international establishment had first hatched a conspiracy against former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retd) to keep him away from the masses and now MQM Chief Hussain was trapped in a case of alleged involvement in money laundering only on the basis of suspicious, which was an international conspiracy against Hussain as was against Musharraf.
He alleged PMLN-led federal government for hatching those conspiracies and said that unrest at a heightened scale was prevailing among the oppressed 98 percent of the masses in Pakistan and that the masses were being compelled to believe that conspiracies against Musharraf and Hussain were part of policy of revenge on ethnic basis. He said that APML was standing shoulder to shoulder with MQM Chief Hussain, MQM as party and people in this difficult situation. He also said that the federal government could have banned Geo Television if it had a sheer tint of faith but the Minister were staying silent for their substantial interests.
