Former justice Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan has been appointed as Chairman Missing Persons Commission to take up the matters of missing persons of the country. According to sources of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, former Supreme Court judge Sardar Muhammad Raza has been appointed as Chairman Missing Persons Commission.
This post became vacant after the completion of three years tenure of former justice Javed Iqbal. Justice Raza, who belongs to Abbottabad, also remained Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court and retired as judge of the Supreme Court after serving more than a decade as judge of the Apex Court.
According to the sources, he has been appointed for a period of three years and he will be entitled to draw perks and privileges same to the judge of the Supreme Court.
