The Chairman Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Enver Baig called on the Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at the Finance Ministry on Saturday. During the meeting they discussed issues relating to BISP. The Chairman BISP apprised the Finance Minister about the efforts being made to reach out to the deserving and further streamlining of processes to simplify them.
The Finance Minister said that transparency was the highest priority of the PML (N) government and directed that the recipients and beneficiaries of the programme should be provided relief without any difficulty or delay. The Finance Ministry, he added would ensure timely disbursement of Funds to BISP.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary Finance Dr Waqar Masood and Advisor to the Finance Ministry Rana Asad Amin.-PR
