Brace yourself: World is apparently ‘ending’ on April 23

Over the years we have heard quite a few times that the world will end soon, and recently an another similar prediction has been making headlines that the world is going to end on April 23 this year. 

Many people, however, were quick to say that the news is totally fake. Christian numerologist David Meade explained a biblical sign and informed Daily Express that on April 23, the sun, moon and Jupiter will be in Virgo, which represents the Messiah.

He also said that the Planet X, known as Nibiru, will appear above the sky on April 23 and will cause volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and tsunamis, however, NASA has claimed Planet X so be a hoax.

The theorists quoted the Bible Revelation 12:1-2 that describes the start of a thing called Rapture and the second coming of Christ. As the passage reads, “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.” The woman is represented as Virgo.

As per Express.co, Meade said that this planetary alignment represents ‘the Lion of the tribe of Judah’, marking the Rapture – the belief that Christ will bring the faithful into paradise before the end of time.

However, a physical chemist Jonathon Sarfati didn’t agree with these claims and said that such phenomena have occurred four times in the last millennium and yet we are still here. In an article, he stated, “There is nothing to suggest that April 23 is a momentous date for biblical prophecy, and Christians need to be careful about being drawn into such sensationalist claims. We won’t know the day or the hour—so we should be prepared at all times!”

NASA has been continuously debunking the myths regarding Planet X. The theory about the ‘death planet’ colliding with Earth has also been back in 2012 yet the so-called doomsday didn’t happen.
