Endeavor Pakistan appoints Mubariz Siddiqui as managing director
- Careem founder Mudassir Sheikha says Pakistan founders will build companies that matter globally
Endeavour Pakistan, a global organisation dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and supporting high-impact startups to scale, has appointed Mubariz Siddiqui as managing director, effective November 1, 2026.
Siddiqui will lead the organisation’s local team and report to the Endeavor Pakistan Board and Endeavor Global. His responsibilities will include identifying high-growth entrepreneurs and supporting business development across Pakistan’s economic sectors.
“Pakistan will produce companies that matter far beyond its borders. Our job is to find the founders behind them early, in every sector, and put the world’s best network behind them. Mubariz shares this ambition, and we are excited to back him on this mission,” said Mudassir Sheikha, co-founder and CEO of Careem and founding board chair of Endeavor Pakistan.
Endeavor Pakistan said it would focus on entrepreneurs across sectors including retail, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, services exports and consumer brands, in addition to software.

Entrepreneurs selected by the organisation join its global network, which operates in more than 45 markets and provides access to mentors, peers, talent and investors.
Endeavor Pakistan launched in 2022 as Endeavor’s 40th office. Its entrepreneurs include companies such as Bazaar, Abhi, SadaPay, LAAM, PostEx, PriceOye, QistBazaar and KamelPay.
“I’ve seen what happens when a founder meets the right people at the right time, and what happens when they don’t. Endeavor Pakistan exists to make that moment happen more often, then ask those founders to do the same for the next ones. That is how an ecosystem compounds. Mubariz knows this work from the inside, and I’m glad he’s the one leading it,” said Aaqib Gadit, founding board member of Endeavor Pakistan.
“Entrepreneurship is the most credible path to social mobility in Pakistan. Our priority is to make it a viable career for far more Pakistanis. Endeavor has helped build entrepreneurial ecosystems in markets around the world, and Endeavor Pakistan will bring that network and those lessons here. I want to hear from founders, mentors and institutions who want to build it with us,” Siddiqui said.
Siddiqui has practised law since 2008 and has been involved with Pakistan’s startup ecosystem since 2015. He founded Carbon Law, where he advised founders, investors and technology companies on venture financing, corporate structuring and regulation.
He previously served as general counsel at Sarmayacar, a Pakistan-focused venture capital fund, and held senior legal positions on corporate and infrastructure projects. He has also worked with regulators on reforms concerning early-stage companies. He has paused his legal practice to take up the new position.
