Spain to issue up to 7.5bn euros in debt this week

MADRID: Spain plans to issue between 5.5 billion and 7.5 billion euros ($6.8 billion-$9.2 billion) at two scheduled debt auctions this week, including T-bills on Tuesday and a quadruple bond auction on Thursday, the Treasury said on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Treasury will issue between 1 billion and 2 billion euros of 3- and 9-month T-bills.

On Thursday, it will issue between 4.5 billion and 5.5 billion euros of bonds due 2022, 2028, 2033 and 2040, the Treasury said.
