PESHAWAR: The Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Peshawar Division (WCCIPD) organised a ‘Women Business Excellence Awards 2026’ in Peshawar.

The ceremony was attended by Women entrepreneurs, business leaders, government representatives, development partners, members of the business community and distinguished guests.

Muzzammil Aslam, Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Finance, was the chief guest.

Women entrepreneurs from diverse sectors were recognised, including manufacturing, services, technology, fashion, training and development, social impact, exports, retail, beauty, organic and natural products, startups and business innovation.

Qurat-ul-Ain, President WCCIPD, highlighted the growing contribution of women entrepreneurs to the provincial economy and emphasised the need to create an enabling environment in which women-led businesses can establish, formalize and grow.

She emphasized that the objective is not simply to increase the number of women entering business, but to enable more women-led enterprises to formalize, grow, create employment, enter new markets and contribute sustainably to the provincial and national economy.

The Women Business Excellence Awards 2026 served as both a celebration of individual achievement and a platform to highlight the growing role of women entrepreneurs in the economic development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.
