KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 207,469 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 122,995 tonnes of Import Cargo and 84,474 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 122,995 tonnes Comprised of 56,853 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 33,296 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 5,238 tonnes of Lentils, 2,361 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 25,247 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 84,474 tonnes Comprised of 33,859 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 493 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 40,022 tonnes of Clinkers, & 10,100 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 05 ships namely Ym Excellence, Cma Cgm Nabucco, Yu Xiao 2, MT Shalamar, & NewsunUnity Fuji berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Feng Hai 66, Discovery, CmaCgm Gemini, Hua Chuang 66, Xin Pu Dong, & Ds Rosa sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, MSC Susanna and Mu Mian Song left the port on Monday morning, while another bulk cargo carrier ‘V-Star’ expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 102,802 tones comprising 95,152 tones imports cargo and 7,650 export cargo carried in 1,895 Containers (1,445 TEUs Imports & 450 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, New Sun Lucky, Patroklos-I and Pasco Berke & another containers ship ‘GFS Pride’ scheduled to load/offload Rice, Mogas, LPG and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, FOTCO, EVTL and QICT respectively on Monday 28th September, 2026.
