KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 154,866 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 98,789 tonnes of Import Cargo and 56,077 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 98,789 tonnes Comprised of 48,719 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 4,141 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 2,275 tonnes of Ammonium Sulphate, 3,200 tonnes of Palm Kernel Expeller, 7,220 tonnes of Rock Phosphate, 5,813 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 27,421 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 56,077 tonnes Comprised of 57,487 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,640 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 822 tonnes of Rice, & 128 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, two ships namely, X-Press Anglesey, & Eva Fuji berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 07 ships namely, Glory 1, Senator, Oriental Viola, Raon Teresa, Tss Amber, Eva Fuji, & X-Press Phoenix sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Al-Jaoudi-1, Searay, Alisa-1 and Berlinda expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 74,147 tones comprising 72,173 tones imports cargo and 1,974 export cargo carried in 243 Containers (161 TEUs Imports & 82 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 18 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Chris GR, Banglar Agradoot and Shan Ying Zuo & two more ships, Acadia Park and Jin Yu Fu Tong scheduled to load/offload Cement/Rice, Palm oil, Mogas, Chemicals and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, LCT, FOTCO, EVTL and QICT respectively on Monday 21st September, 2026.
