LISBON: Portuguese consumer prices fell 0.7 in February from the previous month when the inflation index fell 1 percent, dragged lower by seasonal clothing sales, the National Statistics Institute said on Monday, confirming its flash estimate.
Inflation clocked 0.6 percent when compared to a year earlier. The second reading was unchanged from the flash estimate.
In the 12 months through the end of February, inflation totaled 1.3 percent, the same as in January.
