KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 168,243 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 130,451 tonnes of Import Cargo and 37,972 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 130,451 tonnes Comprised of 49,365 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,426 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo,
7,060 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 67,600 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 37,792 tonnes Comprised of 35,276 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 178 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 175 tonnes of Clinkers, & 2,163 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 08 ships namely, Hmm star, Champ Star, MT Lahore, SlsTopaz, Positive Star, Gfs Pride, Liang Xiang 85, & Cosco new Yoryl berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 07 ships namely, Apl Paris, Cl Shaoyang, Oen Recommedation, Stoja, Fu Rong Song, Wan Hai 611, & Msc Mirjam sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, MSC Colombo-V, Sheng An Hai, Gas Chem Werra and HSL Perth expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 167,849 tones comprising 110,182 tones imports cargo and 49,667 export cargo carried in 2,900 Containers (0 TEUs Imports & 2,900 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Shel Duck and MSC Giovanni & another containers ship ‘SLS Topaz’ carrying Steel Coil and Container are expected to take berths MW-2 and QICT respectively on Tuesday 1st September, 2026.
