LAHORE: Professors Syed Azhar Abbas, father of Business Recorder staff reporter Syed Hassan Abbas, passed away yesterday. The journalist community and people from various walks of life have expressed deep sorrow and grief over his demise.

The people from various walk of life participated in the funeral prayer. He was buried in the local graveyard

May Allah Almighty grant the deceased forgiveness, elevate his ranks, and give patience to the bereaved family.
