ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Friday announced an increase of Rs13.18 per litre in petrol and Rs13.80 in diesel prices, effective July 11, 2026.

The new prices will remain in place for the upcoming week, aligned with the current fiscal year’s petroleum levy targets.

According to a press release by the Petroleum Division, the new price of petrol (MS) has been fixed at Rs310.71 per litre, whereas, High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been set at Rs323.30 per litre.

The main reason of hike in POL prices is recent clashes between the US and Iran. Both sides have halted attacks after efforts of Qatar and Pakistan.
