ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has extended a formal invitation to the Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq to attend the official memorial ceremony being held in honour of the martyred Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Syed Ali Hussaini Khamenei.

The Iranian Speaker wrote a letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly. In his letter, Speaker Ghalibaf conveyed his profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of Ayatollah Syed Ali Hussaini Khamenei. The official memorial ceremony and tribute will be held in Tehran on 3 July 2026.

The Iranian Speaker expressed his deep respect for Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Members of the Parliament of Pakistan, and the people of Pakistan.
