ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Wednesday, chaired a meeting of the Committee for the Development and Management of the Hazrat Bari Imam shrine.
The Committee held thorough deliberations regarding the preparations to hold the ‘Chadar Poshi’ Ceremony’ on 14th August 2026 and the ‘Urs Mubarak’ of Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar on 15th to 17th August 2026.
The DPM/FM appreciated Committee members for their dedication and contribution to this spiritual cause.
The DPM/FM directed the sub-committee headed by the Railways Minister to oversee and expedite the work of the upkeep, maintenance, and construction of the Shrine.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Railways, MoS on Interior and Narcotics, Interior Secretary, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, DC Islamabad, Lt Gen Afzal Janjua (Retd), Raja Sarfraz Akram, Gauhar Zahid Malik, and Sohail Bhatti.
