Juvenile driving permit launched for 16-year-old youth

LAHORE: A new system of motorcycle driving has been introduced for 16-year-old youth, under which the issuance of juvenile driving permits has been started.

According to the traffic spokesperson, the juvenile driving permit will be issued with the permission of the parents, while a smart card or form B has been made mandatory for it.

According to the spokesperson, the annual fee for the permit has been fixed at Rs 500 to Rs 1,000. Traffic authorities have made it clear that wearing a helmet will be mandatory while driving, while the permit can also be cancelled in case of serious or repeated traffic violations.
