SINGAPORE: HSBC on Monday said it is working to restore normal service after some Hong Kong customers reported having trouble using its mobile banking app.
“We are working to resume normal functionality, as some customers may be experiencing difficulties accessing some of our services,” the bank said in an email. “We are resolving these as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
The bank did not say what caused the problem or how many customers were affected. News reports said some users had been locked out of the app earlier in the day.
