KARACHI: Medical Superintendent of Dr Ruth K M Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi, Dr Khalid Bukhari, visited the Karachi Press Club, where he met with the Club’s Secretary, Muhammad Aslam Khan.
Senior club members Maqsood Yousafi, Saeed Sarbazi, Arif Baloch, and Health Committee Secretary Tufail Ahmed were also present.
KPC Secretary Aslam Khan and Health Committee Secretary Tufail Ahmed briefed Dr Khalid Bukhari on the healthcare-related issues and challenges faced by the club members and the journalist community.
Speaking on the occasion, Aslam Khan said that journalists are the eyes and ears of society, working day and night to provide the public with accurate and timely information. He emphasised that it is essential to ensure quality healthcare facilities for journalists and their families, adding that the cooperation extended by Civil Hospital Karachi in this regard is highly commendable. He thanked Dr Khalid Bukhari and expressed hope that this collaboration would enable the journalist community to receive better medical services.
