Pakistan, Australia call for peaceful resolution of conflicts
- FM Wong appreciates Pakistan for constructive role in facilitating dialogue
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to continue encouraging dialogue and constructive engagement.
He expressed this commitment during a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Australia Penny Wong.
DPM Dar apprised the Australian foreign minister of Islamabad Talks held on 11th and 12th of this month.
FM Wong expressed her appreciation for Dar’s efforts, as well as Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and United States. She commended Pakistan’s continued commitment to promoting diplomatic engagement in this regard.
The two leaders expressed concern over the broader implications on the global economy, particularly for developing countries, and emphasized the importance of peaceful resolution of conflicts.
