PESHAWAR: The Women University Swabi has organised a ‘Business Gala’, wherein more than 20 entrepreneurship stalls were set up by students, showcasing their business concepts, products, and management skills.

The University’s Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Ghazala Yasmeen, accompanied by faculty members including Dr Sania, Head of Management Sciences, inaugurated the Business Gala.

The Vice Chancellor took keen interest in the stalls, interacted with the students, and encouraged them to continue developing their entrepreneurial abilities and appreciated the students for presenting innovative and creative business ideas.

On the occasion, Secretary Chamber of Commerce Swabi Salman Ahmad, Danial from DYNAA Swabi, and Assistant Commissioner Topi were also present.

Prof Ghazala Yasmeen said that entrepreneurship has gained exceptional importance in the present global situation, and educational institutions must provide students with practical opportunities to understand business management and innovation.

She further said that under the demanding semester system, such activities give students a valuable chance to refresh themselves and polish their hidden talents.

She appreciated the efforts of the Department of Management Sciences, faculty members, and organizing teams for successfully arranging the Business Gala.
