Pakistan, China reaffirm commitment to peaceful diplomacy in recent telephone conversation

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a productive telephone conversation today with the Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, Foreign Office said on Monday.
The discussion centered around the recent Islamabad Talks and the ongoing direct negotiations between the US and Iran.
During the call, Foreign Minister Wang Yi congratulated Pakistan for its unwavering commitment to fostering peace and stability throughout the region.
He praised Pakistan’s proactive role in diplomatic efforts and assured that China will continue to support Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic initiatives.
In response, FM Dar emphasized Pakistan’s steadfast resolve to pursue dialogue and diplomacy as the primary means to restore regional peace.

Both leaders reiterated the importance of diplomatic engagement and mutual understanding in resolving global and regional issues.
