KARACHI: Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi on Tuesday held separate meetings at the Governor House with Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and Chairman Tabani Group Hamza Tabani, focusing on inter-provincial coordination, national stability and economic growth.

Mandokhail congratulated Hashmi on assuming office as Sindh Governor and extended his best wishes.

The two dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening harmony among provinces, promoting tourism and enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Both sides agreed to further reinforce ties between the federating units to ensure collective progress and national cohesion.

They also appreciated the efforts of the country’s leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Muneer, for maintaining peace and stability in the region.

Sindh governor highlighted that the development of mineral-rich Balochistan would significantly boost employment and business opportunities.

He stressed that addressing the province’s challenges through the effective utilisation of its own resources is the need of the hour.

The two governors reaffirmed their resolve that any hostile intent against Pakistan would be strongly responded, underscoring that there would be no compromise on the country’s sovereignty and security.

Governor Hashmi also paid tribute to the sacrifices of security personnel, stating that the nation holds its brave forces in the highest regard.

In a separate meeting, Chairman Tabani Group Hamza Tabani called on the Sindh governor and congratulated him on assuming office.

The discussion focused on investment prospects, business expansion, and industrial development in the province.

Governor Hashmi emphasised the vital role of the private sector in strengthening the economy and noted that promoting public-private partnerships is key to accelerating development and creating employment opportunities.

Both sides explored avenues to enhance industrial growth and boost investor confidence in Sindh.

The two meetings reflected a shared commitment to fostering inter-provincial collaboration and leveraging private sector participation to achieve sustainable economic progress.
