KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 119,780 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 69,050 tonnes of Import Cargo and 50,730Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 69,050 tonnes Comprised of 59,071 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,613 tonnes of Canola, 2,244 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds & 4,104 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 50,730 tonnes Comprised of 35,840 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,959 tonnes of Clinkers, 25 tonnes of Rice & 10,906 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Hmm Colombo, Bai Lu Zuo, Apl Qingdao, Marine Ista, Khadeejah Jahan Ii & Gfs Jade berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 02 ships namely, Caribbean 1 & Seaspan Brightness sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT TRUST
A total of four ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Grampus Dignity and Propel Wisdom expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 37,454 tones comprising 34,296 tones imports cargo and 3,158 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours. There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Ocean Helios and Lucky Chem & two more ships, Xin Ao Tai and Stephanie-C with Steel Coil, Chemicals, Palm oil and Containers are expected to take berth’s MW-1, EVTL, LCT and QICT on Tuesday 7th April, 2026.
