LAHORE: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Friday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of sisters of PTI former chairman Imran Khan, as well as former ministers and lawmakers, in May 9 riots cases till May 09.
The court called for record of the cases of both the sisters of Imran Khan. The court also asked both the sisters’ lawyers to submit their arguments on next hearing.
Earlier, the counsel for former federal ministers Asad Umar and Azam Khan Swati filed applications seeking one day exemption from personal appearance for hearing and court allowed the requests accordingly.
Meanwhile, the court also extended the pre-arrest bail of other PTI leaders, including MPA Sheikh Imtiaz, Karamat Khokhar, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and her husband Jamshed Cheema.
The petitioners sought bails in multiple cases of May 9 riots including attacks on the PML-N office and Corps Commander House.
