KARACHI: Glamora Films has formally ceased its operations in Pakistan, dissolving its local partnership structure and terminating all related production and commercial activities, according to an official statement issued for legal review.
The company said that Glamora Entertainment (USA) has withdrawn all rights and licences for the use of the Glamora Films name and its intellectual property within Pakistan. In the wake of this decision, no individual, partner, or affiliate is authorised to represent or conduct any activity under the Glamora Films banner in the country, unless explicitly approved in writing by the US entity through its legal counsel.
The statement further clarified that the authority for any such approvals rests solely with Mahsam Raza, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Glamora Entertainment (USA).
In a significant development, the feature film Bhoot Night has been permanently discontinued. The project, directed by Najaf Bilgrami and featuring a cast including Hira Mani, Junaid Khan, Mahsam Raza, Naveed Raza, Adi Adeel Amjad, Ayaz Sumoo, and Yasir Nawaz, will not be released, the company confirmed.
