Karachi, other parts of Sindh likely to receive rain tomorrow: PMD
- Jamshoro, Dadu, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Tharparker may also receive rain
Thunderstorm and rain of light to moderate intensity are likely to hit Karachi and other parts of Sindh on Saturday, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecast on Friday.
The Met Office said the province will experience precipitation under the Influence of a westerly wave that is continuously affecting most parts of the country.
Jamshoro, Dadu, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, Umerkot and Tharparker districts will also receive rain among other districts.

The PMD warned that windstorm/ hailstorm and lightning may damage weak structures such as electric poles, bill boards and solar panels during the forecast period.
“Lightning strikes may occur at isolated places during the forecast period. Hailstorm/windstorm may damage standing crops,” the weather advisory department said.
Hence, it advised farmers to manage their crops according to the prevailing weather conditions.
A day ago Karachi received light rain in different localities including North Karachi, Surjani Town and Orangi.
