KARACHI: Gold prices continued to grow significantly on Wednesday, following international market’s persistent rise, traders said.
Fresh gains pushed local gold prices up by Rs 15,200 to Rs 479,262 per tola with 10 grams soaring by Rs 13,031 to Rs 410,889 per 10 grams, according to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Prices of gold bullion in the world market further surged by USD 152, settling at USD 4,565 per ounce while silver rates rose by USD 4 to sell at USD 73.40 per ounce, it cited.
Tracking a global uptrend, domestic silver prices added Rs 370 and Rs 317 to reach Rs 7,824 per tola and Rs 6,707 per 10 grams, respectively, the Jewellers Association said.
