KARACHI: Pasban Democratic Party Karachi President Abdul Hakim Quaid led a vigorous protest demonstration against long and unannounced load shedding of electricity in North Karachi.
Pasban leaders Malik Aslam, Mohsin Sheikh, Ramzan Rajput, Iqbal Mughal, Javed Malik, Ahsan Qadri, Israr Jarrar Rasool and a large number of workers participated in the demonstration and expressed their deep grief and anger over the lack of electricity supply in the scorching heat.
The protesters were holding placards and banners in their hands on which slogans were written against K-Electric and government institutions.
Addressing the participants on the occasion, Abdul Hakeem Quaid said that the residents of North Karachi are deprived of electricity for many hours, which is badly affecting their daily lives, businesses are being destroyed and domestic consumers are suffering greatly.
