LAHORE: Dr Mushtaq Mangat, a prominent textile industrialist, has taken over the reins of the Pak International Business Forum (PIBF) as its Central President.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has nominated him for the slot keeping in view his competence and wish to work for the economic uplift of the country and resolving the issues faced by the national economy as well as industry and trade.
Dr Mangat, a Phd in Textile Engineering, serves as the Managing Director in the Modern Fabrics, which employs more than 500 individuals. He is also performing his duties as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Lahore Garments City.
Business circles have welcomed his nomination, expressing optimism that his leadership will help strengthen linkages between the engineering and textile sectors, promote industrial development and enhance export performance.
