LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari has said that several key roads across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have remained blocked for the past five days, causing severe disruption to daily life.
She said multiple ambulances have been stuck in traffic, putting patients’ lives at serious risk. She added that due to the personal priorities of the PTI founder and the political use of the so-called “Eye Card,” the lives of ordinary citizens are being jeopardized.
Azma criticized the provincial government, alleging that public safety is not its priority; instead, it is more concerned about the PTI founder’s eye condition than the welfare of the people. She further said that people are reportedly dying in ambulances while the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government remains focused on organizing rallies, blocking roads, and staging sit-ins rather than resolving public issues.
