LAHORE: The National Incubation Centre Lahore (NIC Lahore) successfully collaborated with the Google Community to conduct a live AI workshop, “Mastering Advanced Context Engineering for Your AI-Driven Coding,” on Friday.
The workshop, held under the auspices of the Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoITT) as part of the nationwide Indus AI Week (February 9–15), was led by Google expert Mashhood Rastgar.
It focused on cutting-edge techniques in AI-assisted software development using Google Gemini tools and agentic coding workflows.
Over 150 participants registered for the session, joining both virtually and in person at NIC Lahore, reflecting the growing momentum of Pakistan’s AI ecosystem and strong industry-academia interest in advanced AI skills.
During the 60-minute hands-on training, participants explored modern AI development practices, including context engineering, structured AI workflows, and the emerging paradigm of agentic coding using Gemini CLI. The session emphasised practical implementation, enabling developers, founders, researchers, and students to understand how AI can be integrated into real-world software engineering processes.
