ECP publishes five senators’ names conditionally

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Saturday published the names of five senators conditionally, subject to final outcome of the dual nationality case pending with the Supreme Court, of the candidates returned to the senate against three general seats and two seats reserved for women.

According to ECP notification, the names of senators included Ch Mohammad Sarwar (PTI) and Haroon Khan (Independent) from general seats from Punjab while Khuda Babar (Independent) from General seat from Balochistan.

Similarly, two candidates on seats reserved for women included Saadia Abbasi (Independent) and Nuzhat Sadiq (Independent).
