LAHORE: One of the new franchisees for HBL-PSL-11 has been named as ‘Sialkot Stallions’ for the upcoming mega event staring from March 26.
Announcing the team’s name, Chairman OZ Group and Honour Sialkot Hamza Majeed said Sialkot team will take to the field with the historical and popular name of “Sialkot Stallions.” He said, “Stallions” is not just a name but the identity of Sialkot cricket and the title of a great history. The name has been chosen to maintain the wishes of cricket fans and the traditional identity of Sialkot.
The return of Sialkot Stallions will revive the glory of PSL, Hamza Majeed said, adding: “We are forming a team that will not only present the best game but also give a new place to young talent on the global stage.”
