Thar Coal, Energy Board Amendment Act comes into force

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori signs Thar Coal and Energy Board Amendment Bill- 2025, it has now come into force as the Thar Coal and Energy Board (Amendment) Act- 2025.

After this amended act, Thar Coal and Energy Board gets powers to set tariffs and prices. It will have the authority to control the price, rates and charges of coal.

The board will be able to review its decisions and it will have the legal authority to impose fees and review decisions.
