LESCO provides over 1m new connections in six months

LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has provided 124,437 new electricity connections during the period from July to December 2025, reflecting its continued commitment to improving consumer services.

According to LESCO officials, the newly-issued connections include 119,511 domestic, 4,224 commercial, 605 industrial, and 92 tube-well connections. Additionally, 129,979 net metering connections have been successfully installed across LESCO’s jurisdiction, contributing approximately 1,900 megawatts of solar PV capacity to the national grid.
