At least five dead after Mexican Navy aircraft crashes off Texas

MEXICO CITY: At least five people died when a small Mexican Navy aircraft crashed off the Texas coast near Galveston during a humanitarian mission, Mexico’s Navy secretariat said late on Monday.
The aircraft carried eight people: four naval personnel and four civilians.
One person is missing and two survived.
The aircraft was on a humanitarian mission providing specialized medical transport.
Investigations will be carried out to determine the causes of the crash, the Mexican authority added in a statement.
