KARACHI: The first day of the open public auction of unusable plants, machinery, heavy vehicles, scrap of government vehicles and miscellaneous goods by the Karachi Development Authority was successfully completed on Wednesday.
The open public auction held at the Pre-stressed Pipe Factory, KDA, saw full and encouraging participation from the citizens of Karachi, traders and various institutions. There was extraordinary interest and positive response from the public in the auction, on which the KDA administration has expressed satisfaction.
According to KDA, all stages of the auction were completed in accordance with the rules and regulations, while live streaming was also continued on Facebook to ensure the transparency of the auction, so that the public could watch the process directly. The open public auction will continue on Dec. 18 and 19, 2025 at the Pre-stressed Pipe Factory, in which more goods and vehicles will be auctioned. The public, traders and government and private institutions are eligible to participate in the auction.
The KDA administration has thanked the citizens of Karachi for their cooperation and full participation. They expressed hope that the auction will continue successfully in the next two days with the same enthusiasm and transparency.
