Foodag Pakistan 2025: TDAP Premier Food & Agriculture Exhibition, Building partnerships for shared prosperity
Pakistan’s flagship agro-food event, the 3rd International Food & Agriculture Exhibition (FoodAg 2025), concluded with remarkable success, attracting global buyers, securing major export pipelines, and positioning Pakistan as a competitive and sustainable player in the international agro-food market.
Over three days, the exhibition highlighted the country’s growing strengths in Agriculture, value addition, logistics, and culinary innovation. With more than 5,700 B2B meetings and USD 730 million in confirmed deals, the event delivered its most impressive outcome to date, cementing its status as one of the region’s premier Trade Exhibition.
High Level Engagements & Strong Global Interest
The Exhibition opened with an official inauguration by the Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, setting an energetic tone for Global trade activity. Pakistani Exhibitors from a wide range of agro-food subsectors engaged with a diverse pool of foreign delegates representing multiple regions. The day’s hallmark was a highly coordinated B2B Matchmaking program, which facilitated extensive engagements and generated strong initial business expectations.
Exhibitors displayed a rich variety of products including staple Grains, Seafood, Fruits, Spices, Halal Meat, Dairy, and Processed Foods across a large and vibrant showcase. Rice, Fruits, Vegetables, and Frozen/IQF, Beverages and Drinks, Biscuits, Confectionery, Bread, Pastries, Cakes and Chewing Gum, Cereals, Dairy, Dry Fruits, Floriculture, Honey, Maize, Meat, Oil and Ghee / Oil Seeds, Poultry Products, Processed Food including Jams, Marmalade and Ketchup, Salt, Sea Food and Fisheries, Sesame Seeds, Spice, Tobacco and Agritech Technical seminars drew significant participation, addressing value addition in processed foods, sanitary and phyto-sanitary cooperation, Aflatoxin thresholds in Rice, packaging innovation, logistics solutions, and opportunities in the Olive value chain. The Global Cuisine Show added a dynamic culinary dimension as top Chefs highlighted Pakistani ingredients such as Basmati Rice, Mangoes, Kinnow, and Himalayan Pink Salt.
Government-to-government meetings with China, Italy, Malaysia, and other countries further strengthened trade avenues and regulatory cooperation. Day one successfully laid the foundation for sustained partnerships and long-term export growth.

Strengthened International Outreach and Strategic Business Deals
Day two delivered even stronger global participation, with B2B engagements building significantly upon the momentum of the opening day. The day produced substantial business interest across major sectors including Rice, Seafood, Confectionery, Spices, and Dairy. Strategic engagements were led by TDAP Chief Executive Faiz Ahmad and Secretary Sheryar Taj, who held extensive meetings with delegations from Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kuwait, Hong Kong, and Kazakhstan.
Internationally recognized chefs conducted master-classes at the Global Cuisine Show, showcasing Pakistan’s premium agricultural inputs through creative culinary techniques.
Sector-focused seminars highlighted the Olive value chain, optimization of the Pakistan-Malaysia meat supply chain. Fisheries and aquaculture expansion, and export competitiveness through logistics and financing.
The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) showcased its advanced cold chain network and engaged delegates regarding the upcoming Pakistan Mart in Dubai, aimed at enhancing Global market access.

FoodAg-2025 also brought together agro-food experts for in-depth discussions on enhancing the global reach of Pakistani products by ensuring compliance with SPS requirements. Key regulatory bodies - including the Department of Plant Protection, Animal Quarantine Department, Ministry of National Food Security, Marine Fisheries Department, Pakistan Halal Authority, and the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority - held seven dedicated sessions with their counterparts from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Gambia which were organized in collaboration with relevant Trade Missions and in presence of representatives from MoC, TDAP, REAP & APFVEA. These sessions focused on SPS and quarantine issues, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to international safety standards, strengthening information exchange, and boosting buyer confidence to expand both existing and new markets through diversified Agro-Exports.
Historic Outcomes & Global Recognition
The final day of FoodAg 2025 was marked by the consolidation of major export opportunities and the announcement of new trade pipelines. The event concluded with a robust number of confirmed business commitments and multiple MoUs, alongside new export partnerships with key markets including China, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Iran, Kuwait and the UK. China’s participation proved particularly fruitful, with significant Agreements reached in Sesame, meat, and value-added foods. Leading international giants such as JCOF (China), BERNAS (Malaysia), Aytac Foods (UK), and Migros (Turkey) engaged in intensive procurement discussions, reaffirming Global confidence in Pakistan’s supply capabilities.
The Global Cuisine Show concluded with a showcase of leading Chefs - many of them Michelin-recognized - who elevated Pakistani ingredients through refined techniques and cross-cultural culinary expressions.
Post-event factory visits and field tours are expected to further enhance business outcomes in the weeks ahead, continuing the momentum generated at the Exhibition.
A total of eight visits were successfully executed. These visits included delegations from Turkyie, Australia, Mauritius, China, and Malaysia across various industrial and commercial facilities.
A Landmark Finale Showcasing Pakistan’s Rise as a Global Agro-Food Power
The final day of FoodAg Pakistan 2025 concluded with an energy that perfectly reflected the scale of its success. Held from November 25-27 at the Expo Centre Karachi, the 3rd International Food & Agriculture Exhibition became a defining moment for Pakistan’s agro-food sector - an event that not only attracted global attention but also validated Pakistan’s growing strength, quality, and competitiveness in world markets. The event was attended by around 850 foreign delegates including over 350 business leaders from Asia with 120 alone from China, foreign delegates from Africa were 224, around 120 representatives of agro food businesses from Europe, 97 from Middle East and substantial participation from Central Asia, North America, South America and Oceania Including 250 business leaders.
From early morning, the halls of the Expo Centre buzzed with continuous movement, foreign delegates, trade delegations, Pakistani exporters, and government officials engaged in a steady stream of follow-up meetings that added significant weight to the momentum built over the first two days. With over 5,700 B2B meetings already completed, Day 3 became the platform where partnerships matured, contracts were finalized, and future trade pipelines took shape. One of the most notable aspects of the final day was the confidence shown by global buyers in Pakistan’s agro-food capabilities. The event recorded confirmed business deals worth USD 730 million - a Milestone that reflects Pakistan’s accelerating progress in food exports. Particularly significant was the strengthening of trade relations with China, where over USD 33.9 million in confirmed export contracts were secured. These included a major USD 9.7 million sesame seed deal and a USD 10 million boiled beef contract, demonstrating Pakistan’s advancement in both raw and value-added segments.
Pakistan’s achievements went beyond trade numbers. High-level government-to-government dialogues with Qatar, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Italy, and Turkey signaled Pakistan’s readiness to integrate more deeply into global regulatory frameworks. Discussions on SPS standards, certifications, logistics, and value addition highlighted the country’s determination to modernize its food ecosystem.
The Global Cuisine Show remained a crowd-puller on the last day, featuring 21 chefs - including 12 internationally renowned Michelin-recognized chefs - who showcased Pakistani ingredients in French, Italian, Turkish, Thai, and fusion cuisines. Their demonstrations sent a powerful message: Pakistani products are premium, versatile, and ready for global culinary Platforms.
As the event drew to a close, CE TDAP Mr. Faiz Ahmad described FoodAg 2025 as “a turning point for Pakistan’s agro-food industry,” noting that the diversity of Exhibitors, the quality of buyers, and the scale of deals collectively demonstrated Pakistan’s arrival on the global stage as a reliable, competitive, and sustainability-focused food supplier.
