KARACHI: The Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Karachi has awarded 13 PhDs, 39 MPhil, and two MS Course Work (30 Cr Hr) degrees in various disciplines during the recently held ASRB meeting.
The KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi chaired the meeting which awarded PhD degree to Huma Rao (Biotechnology KIBGE), Quratul Ain Masood (Botany), Maryam (Business Administration KUBS), Shahzad Nazir (Chemistry), Faryal Ashraf, and Bilal Saleh (Molecular Medicine), Durr-e-Shahwar Siddiqui, and Syed Muhammad Masood Ali (Pharmacology), Muhammad Irfan (Psychology), Muhammad Zeeshan Khan, and Muhammad Murad Alam (Public Administration), Amjad Obaid Ullah (Usool ud Din), and Uzma Ali (Zoology).
Meanwhile, the MPhil degrees were awarded to Amina Adnan (Applied Economics AERC), Ali Akber Kazmi (Area Study Centre for Europe), Hafiza Muneeba Munawar, Ghayoor ul Hasnain Nisar, and Mehreen (Biochemistry), Danish Wajid (Botany), Sahar Un Nisa (Botany MAK-ISHU), Mehwish Elahi (Chemistry), Sanober Juman (Criminology), Umair Nizami (Economics), Effah Malik (Environmental Studies), Jahangul Jahangir Khakwani (Genetics), Saad Imran, and Ayaz Maqbool (Health, Physical Education and Sports Sciences), Safia (International Relation), Anum Arshad (Islamic Learning), Nargis Fatima (Library and Information Science), Marium Imran Mansuri, and Sumera Bano (Molecular Medicine), Fizza Batool (Pharmacology), Sadaf Khalid, and Muhammad Afzal (Physics), Kissa Zahra Zaidi (Political Science), Rasheeda, Mariam Fatima, Taha Nawab Khan, Haseeba Muqaddam, Shehzeen Sohail, and Nasreen Akhter (Psychology), Kunwal Arshad Ali, Agha Zulfeqar Haider, and Sehar Ali (Public Administration), Shumaila Sandelo (Sindhi), Seema Liaquat (Social Work), Zulfiqar Ali (Urdu), Imran Khan, and Syed Nisar Ahmed, and Muhammad Usama Sarfraz (Usool Uddin), and Sadaf (Zoology).
During the meeting, MS Course Work (30 Cr Hr) degrees were awarded to Fatima Nargis (Education), and Nadeem Ahmed (Women’s Studies).
