Efforts underway for consensus to elect new Chairman Senate: Fazl Ur Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Chief of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) Mualana Fazl Ur Rehman on Friday said that efforts were under way to bring Chairman Senate unanimously in consulation with main political party Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Talking to media persons outside Parliament House here, he said that PTI Chief Imran Khan was embodiment of contradiction, adding that he befooling the masses on the election of Chairman Senate.

He said that Imran Khan also accepted Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardar as his leader.
