LAHORE: Taking notice of incidents of kite-flying in city areas, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has suspends Sabzazar DSP and SHO over alleged inefficency.
The chief minister has also sought a report from the IG Police Punbjab. A 35-year-old man was killed after the twine of a stray kite had cut his throat in the area the other day.
The CM regretted the occurrence of kite-flying despite a ban on it and ordered for strict implementation of the ban.
The chief minister expressed deep sense of sorrow over the death and extended sympathies to the bereaved family.
