FBR issues notices 1,000 traders   

SIALKOT: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued notices to 1,000 new traders for bringing them under the tax net in Sialkot and Gujranwala regions.

Senior FBR officials said special campaign was underway to expand tax net under the direct supervision of 23 special task force teams in Gujranwala division's all six districts: Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Gujranwala.

They said that the teams had been given task of recovering the pending arrears and bringing more people under the tax net.
