KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS and indices was recorded at PKR 73.383 billion and the numbers of lots traded were 61,708.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 43.177 billion, followed by COTS (PKR 14.957 billion), Silver (PKR 7.899 billion), Platinum (PKR 2.682 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.217 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.709 billion), Japan Equity 225 (PKR 447.802 million), DJ (PKR 237.425 million), SP500 (PKR 198.399 million), Palladium (PKR 225.908 million), Natural Gas (PKR 308.829 million), Copper (PKR 276.926 million), Brent (PKR 21.505 million) and Aluminium (PKR 10.486 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 4 lots amounting to PKR 14.985 million were traded, comprising Cotton (PKR 1.836 million), Corn (PKR 5.910 million) and Wheat (PKR 7.239 million).
