SUKKUR: The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Ladies Wing leader of Sukkur chapter and social activist Shaista Khoso has said that the provincial government took practical steps for the uplift of the women.

She stated this while speaking at a function in connection with the International Women's Day at a local hotel on Friday.

She said that Pakistani women should be given ample opportunities to participate in the national development.
