THARPARKAR: Eight goats were killed and dozens were injured after Indian Border Security Forces opened fire on livestock in the border village of Sanorani, Tharparkar.

According to local reports, the Indian forces not only fired at the animals but also attacked them with iron rods, leaving several goats with broken legs and spinal injuries.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah strongly condemned the incident, calling it a “heinous act of barbarity” and “an affront to humanity.” He said the actions of Indian forces were a blatant violation of peace principles and international law.

Following the Chief Minister’s directives, a Livestock Department team was dispatched to the affected village, where veterinarians treated the injured animals. According to the CM’s spokesperson, the team remains on-site to provide ongoing care and assistance.

Murad Ali Shah further directed authorities to ensure full support for the affected livestock owners and continuous monitoring of the situation.

He added that the Sindh government stands firmly with the victims and will take all necessary steps for the protection and welfare of animals.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also stated that the Sindh government would recommend the federal government raise the issue at the diplomatic level to prevent such incidents in the future.
