ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Golra police have arrested two persons who allegedly assaulted raped and killed a 12-year old girl, police said.
According to details, Haider and Usman came as guests in the house of Mr. Adil at Golra area and allegedly raped his 12-year old daughter, They raped and murdered her to hide their identity, police added.
The incident came to light when passersby noticed the girl's body inside a hut at deserted slum. Police rushed to the crime scene at slum in F-12 sector and shifted the body of the girl to PIMS for autopsy and other medical formalities.
The victim later identified as (N), 12, was daughter of Muhammad Adil.
Following this incident, the residents of the area protested and blocked the roads.
SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi constituted special teams to arrest the alleged killers which raided in various areas and succeeded to trace them. They have been identified as Haider and Usman who came to the house of Mr. Adil as guests.
Further investigation is underway from them.
