PML-N confident to bring chairman in senate: Musadik

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik Monday said that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz was emerged as a major political party in the Senate and due to it we were confident to bring the chairman in the upper house (Senate) from the party.

Talking to PTV, he said elections process of the Senate should have to change for stopping the horse trading in future.

He said the PML-N wanted to focus on the legislation rather than criticising others, adding the party and its leadership did not believe in corruption or horse trading.

The advisor said efforts were being utilised against the PML-N for making it weak in the Punjab.

Replying to a question, he said newly elected senators of Balochistan had right to decide that which political party they would join.
